Probe Difference: This unit comes with a stainless-steel probe instead of a plastic/aquarium probe -- suitable for general heating, fermentation, brewing, and liquid heating applications. The controller functions are identical.
Aquarium Submersible Probe: The temperature probe is corrosion resistant and waterproof, so can be used in an aquarium/pond or high humidity environments such as a greenhouses and reptile vivarium.
Dual Time Cycle Setting: The dual function timer control can be set to use two different temperatures within the same 24 hour period. As one timer controlled temperature ends, the second one kicks in.
Dual Display Window: For simultaneous display of measured temperature and the target temperature.
Alarm Notification: With high and low temperature alarms, the Inkbird aquarium heater thermostat will notify you when the temperature level is over what you set, and the App will also push notifications to remind you.
