Very rare Liverpool London & Globe insurance Co. agency sign.
Liverpool London & Globe where a UK insurance company formed in 1864 when The Liverpool fire and life insurance company merged with Globe insurance of London to form Liverpool London and Globe who were themselves acquired in 1919 by Royal insurance of Liverpool before another merger in 1996 with Sun alliance formed the Royal and sun alliance insurance group, so a genuine bit of UK company history here.
I would describe the overall condition as very good for age their is some scuffing/scratches to the frame also a slight imperfection to the board (I have shown these in close up in the photo's so please take a good look) that said considering the age it is very good the original framers label, J Davey & Sons Liverpool, is still present on the rear.
Approximate size is 38.5cm x 26.5cm
