This "Handi-Vil" and V block anvil is a valuable tool for jewelers and watchmakers. Made by Miracle Mgf., St Paul Mn, it weighs 4 1/2 lbs..The V block anvil is versatile and can be used for a variety of tasks - it is a combination anvil and v-block and when it is stood on it's end, there is a rounded cupping section available as per the pics. At some point, someone painted part of this anvil with grey paint - cleaning it will be no great task. It will be a nice addition to any tool collection or shop as it is not seen very often.
