NEW On/Off switch for many monitors mainly 15KHz TV type from Philips, Commodore, ITT, Telefunken & Acorn

This is the PINS VERSION with pins to go through a PCB many of the listed monitors originally had a Solder Tag version. The good news is we also normally have a Solder Tag version which is available from our sister company here: https://www.ebayebay/itm/124437230059

The switch may need adapting for some monitors. When we fit them we often have to snap off the unused connectors at the front of the switch base. The mounting bracket may need replacing with the bracket used on the original switch. Physically getting to the switch is the most difficult part!

The two pins at the front of the switch make momentary contact each time the switch is pressed. The two pairs of pins at the rear make contact when the switch is latched in, and break when the switch is latched out.

This is a listing for a NEW On/Off switch for many Monitors: Philips, Acorn, CVC40 ITT / 21K77 / TELEFUNKEN MP150 / MP212 / 3604 / 3035.

Believed to fit the following 1980s 14" monitors Acorn AKF11, AKF12, ADF32, AKF30, AKF40 and Philips 8833 mk 1 & 2. Also other monitors made by Philips but badged by others including Commodore Amiga 1084S and some ITT monitors. Also fits the Acorn AKF85

This is not normally an easy fit as it is difficult to get to the underside of the motherboard.
If you do fit one we suggest that at the same time you resolder all the connections to the input sockets and the pins of the line output transformer (LOPT) as these are well known to go 'dry'.

Self-fit not advised due to high voltages present inside monitors.
