In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped scarce dust wrapper. 

Illustrated with 278 illustrations over 143 plates, 128 of which are in full colour, including a colour frontispiece. Collated complete.

This work was written by J. Travis Jenkins and provides a comprehensive study of fresh and saltwater fish from the British Isles including carps, sharks and rays. 

Publisher's advertisements to the rear and an advert for this volume loosely inserted.


CONDITION

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is very smart with small chips to the head and tail, a small closed tear to the tail of the front, handling marks and the odd small mark to the verso. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages with the odd minor spot only. An Advert for this volume and a new volume, 'The World in the Past', loosely inserted.
