Established in 1915 by President Woodrow Wilson, Rocky Mountain National Park encompasses more than 415 square miles; has 60 peaks that tower above 12,00 feet; offers 350 miles of hiking trails, and is home to the highest paved road in the U.S. (Trail Ridge Road reaches an elevation of over 12,100 feet).
