Born as Svetlana Veličković on June 14, 1973, in Žitorađa, Serbia, she gained fame as a singer in the former Yugoslavia. Ceca began her music career at a young age. She released her first album at just 15 years old in 1988, titled "Cvetak zanovetak". This debut marked the beginning of a highly successful and influential career. Her music, characterized by a blend of traditional Serbian folk music with contemporary pop, quickly resonated with a wide audience. Over the years, Ceca has released numerous albums and hit songs, becoming one of the most popular and influential artists in Serbia and the wider Balkan region. She was married to Željko Ražnatović, known as Arkan, a Serbian paramilitary leader and warlord.
