This listing is for the upper control arm from my 2006 mustang GT. I upgraded to polyurethane bushing and had no issues. The bushing has less than 1000 miles. ( Probably half that ) I lowered the suspension and went to a one piece driveshaft. Still had zero issues but I wanted the adjustability of an aftermarket unit. I found that lowering the car and engine ( prothane engine mounts ) that the angles actually improved. So this unit could be used with absolutely no issues.
At 1/4 " engine drop and 2 inch suspension drop with one piece driveshaft I was at 2 degrees at the transmission and 1 degree at the pinion. Perfect. Your results may vary but either way this is a good unit and takes away all the flex and wheel hop associated with the big pillow bushing.
Keep in mind that the factory bracket has a hole size of 16mm and the bolt is 14mm. After completely redoing my suspension I couldn't find a clunk. Well that's the clunk. Umi makes a spacer to fix it but I'm going to weld hardened washers to the bracket. ( I ended up with a complete steeda bracket and arm) They also sell upgrade brackets but 30 for spacers and well over 100 for a bracket I'll fix it myself.
Anyway, here this is for sale. The bushing is like 50 alone so this should be a good value as the install is a bit of a pain. Appreciate any interest and thanks for looking.
