A fine matched pair of Japanese hand-cast garden ducks from the 1920s with highly detailed plumage, heads, tails, webbed feet, and wings.

Stamped and signed “A and B” on bottom of feet. Bottom is  also incised JAPAN.

Attractive dark patina from appropriate age.

Taisho period, 1920s.

These sculptures are in remarkably fine condition with fine old patina just the way we like to discover them. Today these older works of art still serve as wonderful indoor or outdoor garden sculptures, beautifully conceived decorative accents only the Japanese artisans can create.

Dimensions: The tall one is 8.25 inches tall and 6.5 inches length; smaller on is  7 inches tall and 7 inches length
