This is a beautiful original oil painting in Griffith Park, 4,210 acre park in Los Angeles. Griffith Park is one of the largest municipal parks with urban wilderness areas in the U.S. It was painted in the 1960’s by Albert Londraville (1922-2015). He studied under the famous Russian American Master, Nicolai Fechin, and was a MGM scenic artist who painted movie backdrops. Albert also studied at the Lukits’ Academy of Fine Arts and often painted on site (plein air).


This painting was purchased directly from the successor trustee for the Albert Londraville Trust. It is mounted in a gold frame. This painting (oil on board) and measures 14 x 18.
