An early 20th century clock in a floor-standing hollow wooden case with a pierced front and glossy printed paper dial. The case top and sides are unvarnished; the front is lightly varnished with a higher gloss dark-stained panel at the bottom. The clock face has a red centre and touches of blue-grey and yellow round the dial. Perhaps German-made - the design has a European Jugendstil look.
Some glue residue on the back and inside case, which has a small knothole at one side. (The split beneath the teardrop cutout is an original saw-cut.)
