Offered is a vintage Rawlings football helmet. This is an interesting, hard shell corrugated, design with leather perimeter, covering the ears, back of neck, and forehead. Interior suspension is strong and intact. Displays as well and features the unique combination of leather and hard shell protection. This was innovative for the 40’s to increase protection and reduce weight.
