This exquisite Satsuma bowl features intricate Japanese artistry.

The design showcases ancient Japanese Mythology with the "Five Immortals", which preceded the "7 Immortals" by decades. The 5 Immortals are the characters on the artwork that have halos. The artwork also depicts everyday life in Japan's early civilization.

The original artwork was handpainted in fine detail. The bottom has a painted marking in Choshuzan style. The Kanji translated as "Satsuma", "Japan Country", "Human Nature", and "Immortal Dragon" (Its creator).

This bowl dates back to the Meji era between 1868-1912. Fine cracks that appear on the surface, called kannyu, are common characteristics of an authentic piece.

This bowl measures approximately 6 inches in diameter.

This antique piece is a must-have for collectors of Asian antiques and Japanese art. Don't miss out on this unique piece.
