Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Steering Nut and Worm Springfield Left Hand Drive
I believe this is a Left-Hand Drive steering
worm and nut, made by Frank Cooke in the 1970's. It is new, perfect lap
fit. Make sure this is for your car, which should be a late Springfield Left
Drive car. If you put one of these on an RHD car, your steering wheel
will work in the opposite direction and that makes it a cast-iron pain to drive
it...
They require some real
expertise to fit (which our partner shop can do), but will restore that sloppy steering in
worn out steering boxes.
