Here we have an extremely rare vintage complete trading card set from restaurant chain Mr. Wimpy's that was released in 1979. I'm unable to find a lot of information on this set but I suspect these were handed out with every meal. Sort of like the toys in Happy Meals from McDonalds.
The set is complete and consists of 20 amazing vintage illustrations of the most well known Marvel superheroes from that period.
The text on the back of the cards is in Dutch, the last Mr. Wimpy's in the Netherlands went out of business in the early 80's. As this card set is in Dutch and thus more rare, it makes it the most valuable Mr. Wimpy's card set available on eBay. The condition of the cards is used, this is how I have received them. Please check all pictures closely!
These were sleeved and placed in toploaders ever since and will be shipped safely this way.
