SR-71 Titanium & USS Constitution Oak Ring
Arizona Skies Meteorites® authentic, custom-made ring crafted from mission flown SR-71 Blackbird Titanium inlaid with Oak from the hull of the USS Constitution frigate laid down in 1794! We are making some of our rare artifacts available as limited edition, custom-made rings. All designed are copyrighted. These materials are difficult to work, and there are no seams, joints or welds in the SR-71 titanium of our rings. Each ring is painstakingly crafted from a solid piece of mission flown SR-71 titanium with Oak from the hull of the frigate USS Constitution inlaid into the SR-71 titanium. Being hand crafted, there will be minor variations in each ring characteristic of hand made items. Our SR-71 rings are simple yet elegant and we are the only source for these rings.
This particular ring is crafted from a structural piece from SR-71A "Super Skater" (61-7970) similar to the one shown in the photo, and is inlayed with Oak from the hull of "Old Iron Sides", the most famous US warship! This SR-71 was lost on 17 June 1970 following a post-re-fueling collision with the KC-135Q (59-1474) tanker. Lt. Col. Buddy L. Brown and his RSO Maj. Mortimer J. Jarvis both ejected and survived the crash. The KC-135 made it back to Beale AFB, California with a damaged refueling boom and aft fuselage. The SR-71 (61-7970) "Super Skater" crashed in the western Texas desert on non-Federally owned land.
After numerous battle victories, "Old Ironsides" is still floating today and is a Museum ship and tourist destination in Boston, Mass.
Each ring is enhanced with an engraving "USS Constitution SR-71" into the inner SR-71 titanium of the ring. All our rings come with a Certificate of Authenticity and make fantastic gifts for pilots, the military, and history, naval, aviation or space enthusiasts.

The SR-71 titanium & battleship ring offered in this auction is a CUSTOM ORDER. The buyer is responsible for ordering the correct ring size. There are no returns if you order the wrong size, so please be sure to carefully follow our ring sizing instructions to ensure that you order the correct ring size. The ring size shall be confirmed by buyer using our ring sizing instructions and ring sizing kit that will be sent to buyer upon purchase of this ring. This is a CUSTOM order and there are no returns on custom orders. The width of this ring will be approximately 5 mm. The turnaround time for this custom order will typically be 6 to 9 weeks from date of payment.
