I bought this tablecloth purely for a water- and paint-resistant table cover. Acrylics can get messy, and I don't want my antique table getting stained! If you're looking for function over form, then I think this tablecloth is fine. If, however, you're shopping for something that's going to look nice for a long time, I'd keep looking. I gave it a 4-star just for that reason, but again: for picnics or something where all you want is to cover the table (but don't want to go 100% disposable), this really is perfect.

I don't actually use this as a tablecloth. I turn the printed side to the wall and hang it up. Then I use its flannel side to hang quilt blocks and pieces of material on when I'm planning out a quilt. It works great and costs way less than buying flannel board from quilt shops. Easy peasy.
