These industrial-grade Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) driver bits are intended to be used with air/electric screwdrivers. The POLAR BEAR BP4, VESSEL D73, HIOS BP-H4, and OHMI V-H4 all share the 800-driver system, which is interchangeable between them. We also sell hand-driven handles for these screwdriver bits.
The specification consists of 4 sets of digits, formatted as AA-BB-CC-DD.
First set (AA): #0, #00, or #000 indicates the sharpness of the tip.
#0 is the sharpest tip recorded in Japan Camera Industrial Standards (JCIS 9-70 精密機器用十字穴ねじ回しビット).
Second set (BB): Diameter of the tip in millimetres.
Third set (CC): Length of the tip in millimetres, excluding the shaft’s length.
Fourth set (DD): Total length of the bits in millimetres.
Please clean the tip and apply oil after use to avoid rust. The bits are constructed of hardened tool steel thus are lubricated to prevent rusting. The presence of oil droplets in the packing is normal.
