Here you have a wonderful hand painted and enameled lidded glass vase, depicting delightful wild roses, in pinks, and oranges, with a lake or river as a wonderful back drop. Probably made in France during the 1880s to1890s and would almost certainly have been part of a pair, and would have been displayed with pride amongst the early forms of middleclass society.

The condition is antique good, with one period repair to rim, no chips or cracks. It stands at 52 cm in height ( lidded ) with an open top diameter of 10 cm, and a base diameter of 14.5 cm, and is approximately 20 cm at it's most bulbous point.

I hope that the images and information above give you all you need to know about this Cheerful and Decorative Piece.
