A rare antique Austrian clown jester figural Majolica pottery humidor.

Cigar, pipe, tobacco ceramic/pottery jar / container.

Made in Austria, circa early 1900's.

The underside has a numbered impression which isn't perfectly clear.  

I believe it is: 78 08 46

It measures approx. 4 1/2" Tall x 4" Wide x 4" Deep.  

In overall great condition. No cracks, crazing or repairs.

There are a few minor surface/paint chips as circled in the photos.

The tip of his nose has a tiny white spot which is glazed over and not a chip but

regular, natural occurring imperfections in the glaze and firing of majolica pottery.
