Product Description
This Portwood finished whisky was initially aged in ex-Bourbon casks before being transferred to Port pipes for a secondary maturation. The result is soft and smooth with flavours and aromas of honey, dark fruits, and hints of oak spice.
Fiinish: Smooth with a soft oak and honey sweetness lingering gently on the tongue.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: A warm, honey-gold amber with coppery highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose: Aromas of rich dried fruits with dark chocolate and cranberries; a hint of toasty oak mingles with a baked nutty dryness.
Palate: Velvety and creamy, it unfolds honeyed sweetness with subtle spice. A luxurious richness coats the palate, where warm oak echoes through the mid-palate, finishing smooth and gently honeyed on the tongue.
Finish: Smooth and refined, with soft oak notes and honey sweetness that lingers gently on the tongue, leaving a warm, comforting kiss.
