Welcome to the sale of this superb collection of Japanese dolls.

These wooden dolls are known as 'Kokeshi'. Each one is unique and hand painted with the artist signing the base of the doll. There kokeshi are of a similar design with bold colours and beautifully painted faces, two have additional messages written to their backs. They work particularly well displayed in a group and I have a few sets available. 

In very good condition commensurate with its age and use. Please have a good look at the photographs as they form part of the description and contact me if you have any further questions.

The kokeshi measure (in cm) approx. 42/32/25 tall by 11/9/7.5 wide (head) and 6.5/5/4.5 wide (base).  

The set weighs 2.2kg

 We offer free delivery on many of our items, however delivery shown is for the UK mainland only. There will be a surcharge for some addresses in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles and the Highlands and islands of Scotland. You are more than welcome to collect or I can deliver locally if needed.
