This is a classic 1920s revival dress from the 1980s. It is made by Huckleberry Folk Clothing. It features a raglan sleeve, but a faux shoulder crown with soft gatherings has been added. It features a drop waist, then a central panel that is softly gathered and then a frill gathered onto the panel. As my grandmother was under 4’11, an 8 cm hem is easily let down. The dress features a self-fabric belt and is made from polyester cotton. The bust has a total measurement of 42 cm, and the nape to hem is 93 cm with the extra 8cm hem that can be let down. My grandmother had no butt or hips, so the back hem is higher than the front but can be let down.
There is a minor fade to the dress, which has always been professionally cleaned, but I suggest another cleaning as it has been in storage.
