This is a very rare Panerai PAM 28 B. It has a 44 mm stainless steel case with a military style black PVD coating applied which gives it a very unique and popular look. Like all rare B series Panerai watches, this dial has a T Swiss T insignia showing that the numbers and hands were painted with tritium. Collectors love tritium because the appearance is creamy and vintage looking. The movement is an automatic self-winding mechanism with a power reserve function. The Power reserve indicator can be seen on the textured "hobnail dial" above the 6 o'clock marker. Both the hobnail dial and indicator placement and mechanism with the "SILVER ARROW" are rare and unique making this one of the most collectible rare Panerai watches. The condition is considered very good with some wear marks and scratches which give this watch even more character. Here is your chance to own a rare timepiece that you can wear!

This Panerai PAM Luminor Power Reserve PAM00028 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber 9040 (base ETA 2892-A2) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, blued screws, a KIF Parechoc anti-shock device, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a Glucydur monometallic balance, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).


Established in the 1860, Officine Panerai has a dedicated following with the most famous fan being none other than the actor Sylvester Stallone. With a distinct minimalistic design and superb construction, it was also the timekeeping instrument of choice for the Royal Italian Navy. Nowadays, it has continued its tradition of producing the most durable timepieces in limited runs as can be seen in the Panerai PVD Black Editions. Sculpted from steel coated in black PVD, the dial sports the highly recognizable luminescent Panerai Arabic numerals, stick, or dot markers. The Panerai PVD Black Editions may feature time only functions but most also indicate date and power reserve display as well as a rattrapante complication.
