These lenses are Category 3 -   HIGH sun-glare and good UV protection (AS/NZ 1067:2003) - compatible with standards in US and Europe; to suit all OAKLEY model OO9246 Sliver sunglasses, size 57mm.


The lenses are POLARIZED, to cut blinding glare from light reflecting from horizontal surfaces:

  • roads - turning glossy looking roads to matt looking roads
  • water - allowing you to see straight through water, not the sun reflections off the waves
  • snow - allowing you to see the mounds, pits and undulations in the snow.  
  • eliminate car dashboard images reflecting off your wind-screen, giving you crisp clear driving vision.
The lenses have IRIDIUM mirror coating for a shiny smooth metallic lens finish.

*** The lenses are NEW, but with a manufacturing defect - the back-surfacing coating of the LEFT lens has some scratches.  These scratches are not readily visible by an observer - photos here show light reflection which exaggerates the defect for show. This defect does NOT affect the lens protection ability, nor affect the clarity of the lens.  The price has been effectively halved for this sale - you're effectively only buying the R lens and the L lens is complimentary. ***
