INSIDE MOUNT: To fit into the window frame the width of headrail need be a little smaller than the inner width of window frame. And the width of fabric part is 1" smaller than the width of headrail for a smooth operation. If the inner width of window frame measures 35 1/2" or 36", then you should order the 35" option（which has a 35" headrail and 34" fabric part) So there will be a gap on each side. In addition, the depth of window frame must be at least 4".

OUTSIDE MOUNT: Add 4"-5" width for a better light control effect and elegant look. If the outer width of window frame measures 35 1/2" or 36", then you should order the 40" option (which has a 40” headrail and 39" fabric part); No requirement for depth of window frame
