Description Enter the Dragon (龍爭虎鬥) is a 1973 martial arts film directed by Robert Clouse and written by Michael Allin. The film stars Bruce Lee, John Saxon and Jim Kelly. It was Lee's final film appearance before his death on July, 20 1973 at the age of 32. An American and Hong Kong co-production, it premiered in Los Angeles on August 19, 1973, one month after Lee's death and earned more than 400 times its budget, making it one of the most profitable films of all time. Bruce Lee plays a martial-arts expert determined to help capture a narcotics dealer whose gang was responsible for the death of his sister. Lee enters a kung fu competition in an attempt to fight his way to the dealer's headquarters with the help of some friends. Widely regarded as one of the greatest martial arts films of all time, in 2004, Enter the Dragon was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.
