Design Description DYNO was founded in 1982 by BMX pioneer Bob Morales, initially producing race apparel and number plates for the rapidly growing BMX scene. The brand quickly earned credibility by sponsoring and supplying some of the sport's biggest names and teams, including GT Bicycles, SE Racing, Auburn Cycles, Robinson Racing, and Team Powerlite. Elite riders such as Eddie Fiola, Mike Dominguez, Greg Hill, and Gary Ellis helped establish DYNO as one of the defining brands of the BMX racing and freestyle boom. By 1985, the company's popularity had outgrown its financial resources, prompting Morales to sell DYNO to GT Bicycles. As part of the agreement, he remained heavily involved with the brand, designing frames, components, and complete bicycles while helping shape GT's marketing strategy. Under GT's ownership, DYNO expanded beyond racing gear into a full lineup of BMX bikes, performance parts, apparel, and footwear, becoming one of the most recognizable names of the sport's golden era. We recommend taking one of your current t-shirts, laying it flat and measuring it. The measurements in the chart below are taken with the shirt laying on a flat surface. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size. All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
