Product Description
The CONECTA Dash Cam Power & Parking Cable is the quickest and simplest way to power your
BlackVue dash cam directly from your vehicle’s electrical system — without visible wires and without the
time‑consuming task of hardwiring into the fusebox.
This OBD cable enables both Normal Driving Mode and Parking Mode, allowing
your BlackVue dash cam to continue recording after the ignition is switched off (vehicle‑dependent — see
warning above).
Installation is simple: plug the cable into your vehicle’s OBD II port, connect the other end to your
BlackVue dash cam, then tuck the cable neatly around the dashboard and headlining for a clean, discreet
setup.
The cable includes built‑in battery discharge protection, ensuring your dash cam cannot
drain your vehicle’s battery.

⚠ Important Vehicle & Camera Compatibility Note
Some vehicles do not output an ACC (ignition) signal through the OBD port.
This can affect how certain BlackVue cameras behave when powered via OBD.
✔ Fully Compatible BlackVue Models (S-Series & Earlier)
DR900S, DR750S, DR590W, DR590, DR650S, DR490, DR470, DR450, DR430
These models will:
• Power on normally
• Enter Parking Mode automatically when the ignition is off
• Record while the vehicle is parked (Parking Mode enabled)
❌ Not Compatible With X-Series Models
DR750X, DR900X, DR770X, DR970X
These newer X-Series cameras require a true ACC signal to switch between Normal Mode and Parking Mode.
If your vehicle’s OBD port does not provide ACC (common on some Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, hybrids and EVs), the camera may:
• Only operate in Parking Mode
• Appear “off” if Parking Mode is disabled in the app
• Not power on at all without ACC
This behaviour is normal for the X-Series and is not a cable fault.
Please check your camera model and vehicle before purchase.
