BEFORE ORDERING, PLEASE VERIFY THAT YOUR MODEL HAS TWO WHITE OR TWO BLACK PULLEYS IN THE EXAMPLE PHOTOS - IF YOU'RE NOT SURE, SEND ME THE MODEL NUMBER OR THE DISTANCE OF THE OUTSIDES OF THE PULLEYS.

If your CD or DVD player will not open or eject the disc, this is the replacement drive belt you need. And if you don't currently have this issue, be proactive and change it now, or have this on-hand, because the issue WILL happen as the original belt stretches and dries out, it's only a matter of time.

TO VERIFY THAT YOUR UNIT CAN USE THIS BELT BEFORE ORDERING, remove the cover, and in the CD or DVD drive, look for two white pulleys that are fairly close together (see photo). The old belt should still be there, unless it has become so loose that it fell off (it may also be melted if exposed to hot weather).

If your unit has these pulleys, this belt will work for you, and you can bend the end of a paper clip to remove the old belt from the pulleys and install a new one. No special tools required.
