A wonderful vintage French bed cover ! At the time of listing I have a number of textiles in this set, including two of these, matching! ~*~ found in Central France in a large chateau! ~ There are many pieces in the set, to view the other pieces simply search my store for " one of set " and they will appear! This textile is a vintage bed cover from the set. It dates from around the 1930-1940's ~ wonderful classic French toile de jouy pattern. This curtain is backed in a natural cotton and uses a bobble trim on the edge ~ *~~ ~*~ This textile is in unwashed as found condition and there is a wonderful warm sense of time and use to it! It really would be so wonderful in an antique home for this reason !*~ ~A gorgeous French country find!!
MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures approximately 68 inches across ( including the 16 inch valances on each side he top ~ So the square central section is about 36 inches wide by about 74 inches long ~
CONDITION: This piece is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~ This textile is in GORGEOUS condition! ~ it would have only been used for a few years at most! There are some light storage marks, but that is just being particular as really, it is in wonderful vintage condition indeed! There are some light marks on the back side ~ Light signs of time and use often inherent in these magical antiques
