Antique Pewter Tea Pot / Kettle, c1830. Made by H. Yale & Co (1824-1831), a partnership between Silversmiths

Hiram & Charles Yale in Wallingford, CT.

Please see the attached pictures and item specifications.

An American hand-made piece that has been here for 200 years!

Re condition: A few places to note on the pot - the lid is angeled down on one side, causing the other side to be raised - a metal worker/Silversmiths could bring it back to it's original shape. There is some roughness on the top of the pot near the hinge on the lid - an inch of raised bumps of unknown cause. On the left side of the pot, (when looking at it straight-on directly at the spout), there is a tiny indentation right under the center band/belt going around the pot. Lastly, the spout has a area under the curve of the spout that has worn through. The hole is not visible when looking at the pot front the front or sides nor when looking at it from above. Usefulness as a Display Piece is not affected. Please see the attached pictures for details on these points.
