This is a complete, easy and ready to install, solar controller with battery inverters. These cabinets were designed and built by DC Solar. If you use the cabinet as-is there are only 2 connections required to have a functioning system (battery connection and solar panel connection). You can also take it apart and assemble it wherever and in any configuration that you like. This setup will generate power even when there is no connection to the power grid. There are two slight variations of the cabinets that house the equipment. One has black handles and the other has silver handles. There is no difference in the configuration of the main components.

Option 1 (Free):

Item can be picked up free of charge in Thorndale, TX (Zip code 76577). You can arrange your own freight and send me a Bill of Lading.

Option 2 (Paid):

Buyer pays for freight in addition to sales price. I will arrange freight for you. I have a forklift on site and can load trucks. Item will only be shipped to lower 48 states. Freight costs run between $500 and $1200 depending on destination and address type. Cost is listed as $1200 but will be corrected once you request a shipping quote and let me know what type of address you have and the zip code.

If you need this shipped to one of the Carribean Islands I can ship it to a freight forwarder in Miami and they can ship it by boat to you. I have done this multiple times.

Engineering and Design Advice:

I am an experienced electrical engineer. I am happy to give you advice on your installation. One of the best ways to use the SMA Sunny Islands is to add an SMA Sunny Boy with it. You can add up to 3,000 watts of pv panels to this cabinet. If you add a Sunny Boy to the system you can add anywhere from 4,000 to 12,000 additional PV watts and they will work seamlessly with the Sunny Islands. Once you buy this cabinet I am happy to provide you will all of the info that you will need.
