Here is a scarce and beautiful older Redfield 10 power scope. It is gloss black and made in Denver back when Redfield was the premier scope maker. It is the silhouette model with target turretts and has front parallax adjustment, 50yds to infinity. The eyepiece and the front lens are round. It has a duplex reticle and 1" tube. Condition is excellent, virtually no use marks. Optics are super clear. This is the best one of these I have ever seen. Everything works perfectly. Scope comes in original beat up box with both books.==============The vintage Redfield 10X 40mm Silhouette fixed-power

sweeping the United States, prompting the Redfield Gun Sight Company to produce
a specialized line of fixed-power scopes (including 6X, 8X, and 10X variants)

Era
The Denver Era: These highly sought-after scopes were manufactured at
Redfield's historic Denver, Colorado plant. You will see "DENVER, CO USA"
stamped on the eyepiece housing.
The Turrets: True Silhouette models feature
tall, target-style finger-adjustable adjustment turrets (often covered by tall
aluminum caps) designed for quick adjustments between the varying silhouette
distances.
The Lens Profile: Unlike the popular oval-shaped
"Widefield" scopes Redfield was making during the same era, the Silhouette
series features traditional round objective and eyepiece lenses to maintain
optical clarity at fixed distances.
The Tube: It features a standard 1-inch
main tube with a high-gloss black anodized finish, typical of premium 1970s and
1980s American optics.
