You can tell from the name, it’s a berries and lemon-flavored spread—but let’s just take a step back, in case your Curd knowledge is limited. Essentially, this kind of Curd is a class of preserves made by cooking fruit juice with eggs, butter, and sugar to create a spreadable condiment that is not quite like jelly or jam. What generally sets the Curd profile apart is its thicker, smooth, almost “creamy” texture. What sets our Mixed Berry & Lemon Curd apart, specifically, is its rich flavor that comes from blackberry purée, concentrated juices of raspberry and blackcurrant, and lemon juice. The result is a complex and ripe Mixed Berry taste, matched with bracingly tart Lemon, and just enough sugar to balance the tangier aspects of the fruit.
