Two Nice Heavy Horse Bookends  6" x 6"  -  These are vintage, unusual, attractive, and a conversation piece. This equestrian design is well conformed busts of a pair of horses with definite personality and laid back ears that depict a threatening pose. These are used so there are a few minor dings where the paint chipped off. Please view the many pictures. The blemishes are minor and were not visible on my bookshelf, only outdoors in bright light. The bookends are a nice weight of silver metal and there is a bronze metallic paint over the top. They look cast and are hollow inside. I did not peel of the green felt on the bottom to see if there is a maker mark - so I am listing as brand unknown. These are nice vintage decorator pieces. The age is unknown, but they have a bit of an art deco feel in my opinion.
