This is for (2) different antique embossed aqua glass Medicine bottles advertising for Dr. D. Jayne's Expectorant. The first bottle dates to the 1860's and has a hinged mold base. It also has an applied top. One side reads, "Dr. D. Jayne's Expectorant" and the other side reads, "Phila.DA". Bottle has a bubble burst on one side of the applied top lip but otherwise is in great condition for its age. It measures about 7 and 1/8" tall by just over 2.5" wide by 1 and 3/4" thick. The second bottle is a Trial Size bottle of the Jayne's Expectorant. This bottle probably dates to the late 1800's. It has embossed out lettering on 3 sides. They read, "Jayne's Expectorant", "Philadelphia" and "Trial Size". Bottle is in good condition overall for its age. Please see pictures for design and condition detail in voth bottles. This trial size bottle measures about 4 and 1/8" tall by just over 1 and 1/4" wide by 3/4 of an inch thick. Nice set of 2 different antique Dr. D.
