RARE VINTAGE University Of Pennsylvania UPENN, Ivy League T-Shirt Circa 1981

Size: Medium (Runs A Bit Smaller)

Bought this during my first visit to Penn during Perspective (“Pross Week”).

Love that time. Loved the campus. Loved the student population and loved Philadelphia.

This T-Shirt was the only remaining one on the rack at The Bookstore, when it was run like the “COOP” at Harvard, not like the current Penn Bookstore run(down) by Barnes & Noble, selling all the generic Fanatics Ivy League crest crap.

This rare design is one of the few made in the early 1980s that featured Benjamin Franklin, the founder of the first non-sectarian college in the new experiment of democracy.

Own a piece of history of this great university as it was in the early 80s!

“Drink a highball, at nightfall,

Be good fellows while you may

For tomorrow may bring sorrow,

So tonight, let's all be gay (get laid!)

Tell the story, of the glory,

Of Pennsylvan-i-a,

Drink a highball, and be jolly

Here's a toast to dear old Penn!”
