This book consists of photos of sailors in all aspects of their daily life and there is the first full page photo of Adolf Hitler and two commanders
This was published in 1934 and has 57 pages
From the first page says: "Dieses Bildwerk wurde zusammengestellt in Anlehnung an das in der Hanseatischen Verlagsanstalt, Hamburg, ershienene Buch "Matrosen, Soldaten, Kameraden" von Max Burchartz-Essen und Edgar Zeller-Hamburg.
Die aus disem Buche ubernommenen Aufnamen wurden um 80 noch nicht erschienene Aufnahmen von Prof. Max Burchartz vermehrt. Nur etwa 10 Bilder stammen nicht vom Verfasser, so auch das letzte Bild dieses Albums, dessen Original die Zeitschrift "Die Reichsmarine" dankenswerterweise zur Verfugung gestellt hat.
Die Texte des Buches "Matrosen, Soldaten, Kameraden" von Edgar Zeller wurden fur die Erlauterungen dieses Buches zum Teil mitverwendet."
Translated to English: This picture book was compiled based on the book "Sailors, Soldiers, Comrades" by Max Burchartz-Essen and Edgar Zeller-Hamburg, which was published by the Hanseatische Verlagsanstalt, Hamburg.
The recordings taken from this book have been increased by 80 recordings by Prof. Max Burchartz that have not yet been published. Only about 10 pictures do not come from the author, including the last picture in this album, the original of which was kindly made available by the magazine "Die Reichsmarine".
The texts from Edgar Zeller's book "Sailors, Soldiers, Comrades" were partly used for the explanations of this book."
The approximate measurements are shown in the photos. 11" x 11 1/2" The pasted in colorized photos are 2 1/4" x 3"
This is in good condition. The cover , on the front has water stains and a rip out of the right top corner. There are no rips or tears in the pages and all the colorized cigarette cards all appear to be attached. The film paper between the pages also looks in good condition. (Please see photos)
