Large Five Layer Performance Air Filter: Momentum's innovative filter-to-housing interface was built to feature the largest air filter possible. This 6 IN tall 360-degree radial flow air filter features a 4-1/2 in. flange and our pre-oiled Pro 5R media with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. It provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air and delivers the highest power gains in most cases. This media is perfect for street and/or track use. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals._x000D_Unique One-Piece Housing: The sealed heat-resistant housing, constructed of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer, features our patent-pending filter-to-housing interface and a clear sight window that allows for hassle-free filter inspection. An aluminum heat shield panel on the side of the housing deflects hot air emitted from the turbocharger, ensuring the system's two air inlets bring in the coolest air possible. In addition to the massive auxiliary air inlet, this intake utilizes the vehicle's OE air inlet with no additional hardware._x000D_Reinforced Silicone Intake Tube: This intake system utilizes a flexible silicone intake tube that is reinforced with four layers of nylon material, making it virtually resistant to wear and deterioration. It includes a vacuum hose fitting, along with an aluminum insert that easily mates the intake tube to the air filter._x000D_Hassle-Free Installation: Stainless-steel clamps and a silicone inlet trim are included for strength and durability.
