B-Ionic Transition Elements PLUS+

 

B-Ionic Transition Elements Plus is the latest product by ESV, formulated by Bob Stark in collaboration with Joe Yaiullo. B-Ionic TE Plus+ changes the nutrient dynamics of reef aquaria without the use of specialized chemical media. It provides a conservative level of organic carbon, synergistically combined with trace elements to maximize heterotrophic bacterial uptake of nitrate and phosphate. B-Ionic TE Plus+ can also provide many potential benefits such as enhanced production of marine snow, and mitigation of any hydrogen sulfide release within the aquarium. Also, enhanced coral coloration, better polyp extension, and increased water clarity have been observed with the use of B-Ionic TE Plus+. This product has been formulated to prevent accumulation of the transition elements it provides.

 

DIRECTIONS: If nitrate concentration is less than 5ppm, or falls below 5ppm while using B-Ionic Transition Elements PLUS+, Use B-Ionic Transition Elements instead. For the first week, dose 1ml/40gals (1 drop per 2 gals) daily. After first week, increase dose to 1ml/20 gals (1 drop per gal) daily, and continue testing for nitrate on a weekly basis. When adding full dose at once, add within the first few hours of photoperiod. When using a dosing pump, add entire dose only when aquarium lights are on. Do not use B-Ionic Transition Elements Plus+ when using other forms of organic carbon dosing, use our B-Ionic Transition Elements instead.

 

CONCENTRATION: 1ml/20 gals of aquarium water adds a total of 19.4ppb Transition Elements (iron, manganese, zinc) plus 670ppb organic carbon (from citric acid, ascorbic acid, sodium citrate)

 

IONIC CONTENTS: Citric acid, chloride*, sodium*, ascorbic acid, citrate, sulfate*, iron, potassium*, manganese, sorbate**, zinc

SHELF LIFE: 18 months from date tested and filled, or 24 months if product is refrigerated after opening.

During that time, the product color may change, but will not affect performance

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES: Keep away from children! Store away from acids and metals. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and skin.

 

FIRST AID MEASURES: Eye and/or skin contact: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists. Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Call Physician. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel.
