Application :
For safety reasons, the ignition line of the respective side airbag module must be short-circuited to the housing during assembly and removal work on the driver and front passenger seats to prevent the unintended release of the side airbags.
Initial use:
Audi A8 2010>
For all other side airbag systems, airbag adapters VAS 5232, VAS 5232/1, VAS 5232/2, VAS 5094, VAS 5068, VAS 6036, VAS 6229, VAS 6235, VAS 6280 and VAS 6281 are to be used.
Warning:
An adapter is required for each side airbag.
