This is an ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING of this poster by the iconic artist Milton Glaser.

Printed in 1992, it measures 27 x 39 1/4 inches and is in A condition (please note that standard A condition allows for minor handling wear at edges).

It was commissioned by Poster Auctions International to advertise their auction on November 8, 1992.

In keeping with its aims of supporting and fostering the appreciation of contemporary graphic artits while celebrating the lithographic tradition from which these designs sprung, PAI comissioned a series of original posters to commemorate their twice-yearly sales from 1992 through 1997--at which point economic realities prevailed over artistic sentiments. The participating graphic artists comprised a who's who of the world's most distinguished posterists, and each poster is a limited-edition of 200 numbered copies--all hand signed on special stock. There was also a regular edition on normal paper printed which was then pasted all over the walls of Manhatten, only to be pasted over again in the next few days, emphasising their rarity. Glaser focuses on the art of seeing with this design of a witty face in profile. The bright eye focuses our attention and suggests the visual treasures to be had.
