Up for sale is a very rare and difficult to find vintage 1977 Chris Chambliss hand cut single #98. The individual card for sale was cut from a "mother panel" that also featured Bake McBride and Butch Metzger (#'s 97 & 99).

Condition is acceptable which is judged to be "poor" or "low grade" in this instance. Please read the description very carefully.

Imperfections include surface scratches, miscellaneous marks and soiling, yellowing and discoloration due to age on both sides.  There's also corner and edge wear and centering issues. There's also some fading on both sides of of card. The card was not cut well and is mostly outside of the dotted lines that comprise the card's perimeter/borders.

There's a crease within the upper part of the card,, stains, smudges and scratches. There's also extensive soiling, yellowing, discoloration and a dark stain on the back of the disc. Please see photos for more information.

This card is part of the 1977 Hostess Baseball set which contains a total of 150 cards. This is huge number for a food-issue set. However, cards were distributed as three-card panels, like the one listed, on the backs of boxes for Twinkie, King Dons and other snacks.

Full three-card panels measure 7 1/4" by 3 1/4". When cut down to size, like the item for sale, single cards are typically approximately 2 1/4" by 3 1/4".

The panel will be shipped free to the buyer safely and securely via the USPS in a penny sleeve and sturdy toploader.
