Very clean, no chips, cracks or crazing. Gilt does have normal wear for being an antique. No stainage inside pot
· Moulded and raised SALOPIAN mark, with handwritten pattern number (4618), used on transfer-printed teapots· For many years the maker of pieces with this distinctive mark was unknown. All that could be said was they were likely to be from one of the Stoke-on-Trent potteries, c.1910.
