HARD LAUGHTER

written by ANNE LAMOTT

SIGNED BY ANNE LAMOTT on the title page

This was her debut novel. On the back cover, there is a very encouraging blurb from Peter Beagle. The story of a close-knit family who manages to hold on to its good humor despite the sad diagnosis of a brain tumor for the 55 year old father.

This book was bought new and is in very good condition. I take very good care of my books in my smoke-free environment.

Notes on condition:

dust jacket: crisp & clean, no rips or marks; age discoloration on the inside

binding: black cloth spine and taupe boards are in very good condition - all clean, no marks or dents

interior pages: clean & crisp, no marks or tears; all pages secure; but there is brown spotting from age discoloration along edges of pages when book is shut

Please see photos to get a sense of the great condition, format and signature.

I am happy to combine shipping to save my buyers money. Books can easily be combined and pack well together. Media mail is a very affordable rate offered by the USPS. Cost is based solely on weight and does not vary with distance. If buying multiple books, please put them in your cart and then "request total from seller". I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping cost.

However, I have been told that if you are ordering from a phone, it may not be possible to request such a total. If that is your situation, please go ahead and pay the shipping as billed. Then, when I process your order, I will calculate the difference between shipping paid versus actual cost, and refund you any difference.

Thanks for looking!
