Harmony House Mandarin
Bamboo Covered Sugar & Creamer Set Japan
For consideration is this
vintage matched covered sugar and creamer set made by Harmony House China in
Japan. This is in their Mandarin pattern and it was made in the early 1950s.
The pattern is described as pink and green bamboo leaves with a gold verge (an
edge or border) , and gold trim.
The sugar measures 4½ inches
tall with the lid in place, the bowl measures 2 5/8 inches tall and 2¾ inches
tall at the handles, the mouth measures 3¼ inches in diameter and the base
measures 2¾ inches in diameter. The
creamer measures 3 inches tall at the lip and 3¾ inches tall at the handle, the
mouth measures 3 inches in diameter, 5½ inches from spout to handle and the base
measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter.
Both bases are backstamped
“Harmony House Fine China Mandarin Made In Japan”. Both pieces are in excellent
vintage condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, scratches,
discoloration or crazing noted. Buyer will pay shipping on a 2 pound
