I crocheted this set off 4 coasters in the colors of  Christmas, although they can be used year round; I call them my "drunken starfish" coasters since they are not a perfect star shape, but kind of bend and wave :). Made of 100% cotton crochet yarn they are absorbent and you can toss them in a cold load of the washing machine (just lay flat to dry).  

Generously sized at about 7" diameter and I make everything in my smoke and pet-free home.Definitely a unique gift for the bartender or home bar owner…..and they can ALSO be strewn about like decor doilies!
