The MSA MiniSCAPE respirator is a mouthpiece and nose clip which offers 5 minutes of escape time during hazardous situations. It is ideal for use in laboratories and plants where toxic gases, liquids, and vapours are handled. It uses a TabTec filter technology and an ABEK filter for effective filtration of organic and inorganic vapours.

The MSA MiniSCAPE is suitable for one time use only. It is not suitable for oxygen-deficient atmospheres or carbon monoxide exposure.

Design The miniSCAPE is CE approved as ABEK-5, according to DIN 58647-T7, and protects against numerous toxic gases or vapours e.g.: 

■ Organic vapours, solvents, e.g. benzene, tetrachloroethane, trichloroethylene,

■ Inorganic gases, e.g. hydrogen halides, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, 

The miniSCAPE is fitted with a comfortable silicon mouthpiece directly connected to the filter housing. A nose clip is attached to the unit by a securing cord. The miniSCAPE is stored in an impact resistant plastic case, which can be quickly and easily opened by pulling the sealed tab located on the front. Simple instructions for use are readily visible from the outside.
