Up for sale today is this Original Listed Artist Joan Mitchell Blumenthal Graphite Drawing of Tree Signed.The drawing is signed and dated in the lower right 1972 Joan Mitchell Blumenthal. Drawing is very nice and is in excellent condition. Measures 8" x 10.25" sight under a double matte and 13.25" x 15.75" including frame. The matte color is beige and the frame is a generic silver metal frame in very good condition. The drawing was purchased from the son of a man who was close to both Ayn, Joan and Allan in the 1970's and received the drawing as a gift from Allan and Joan.
Joan Mitchell, is a Canadian painter and poet who resided in New York City. She is the ex-wife of the American economist, Alan Greenspan and a member of Ayn Rand's inner circle along with Barbara Branden and Nathaniel Branden. Joan Mitchell later married Allan Blumenthal a psychiatrist who was also in the Atlas Society.
